Activities To Do and Attend In Riverside California This Halloween

As we near Halloween more and more options on what to do on your free day are coming up. Here are a few spots to hit up if you are in the mood for a scare or just a fun and family friendly event:

GHOST WALK RIVERSIDE

Date: October 27-28 th
Location: 3746 University, Riverside 92501
Admission: $15
At the Ghost Walk Riverside you could find 4 different tours, all different in their own way,
where various writers, storytellers, actors, musicians, and vocalists from all over come together
to collaborate. Each one has different level of fear so if you are just looking to entertain the
kids, they got you covered, or if you are looking for a bit more of frightful one them you could
try them all out and get a good spook toward the end. Live entertainment will also be a part of
the walk including UCR’s Taiko Ensemble which is a traditional form of drumming with the large
drums in a group known as kumi-daiko. The event will also have a kid’s carnival with games, and
kid’s Halloween costume contest from ages 10 and below. If you are hungry there will be food
vendors around as well little boutiques to keep you busy.

Mistress Yvonne's Haunted House

Looking for something free to do? For the past 10 years the owner of Y Karaoke Kompany has
held multiple mazes on her property ranging from the faint of heart to the fear seekers. Each
room has a different theme and as for this year, the themes will be Fool’s Funeral Home,
Zombiesteria, The Lost Mummy’s Tomb, Circus De Kill, The Morgue, The Meat Locker, Love
after Death, the Butcher Shop, Freddie’s Junk Yard, and more! If you have children to worry
about, no worries here, there will be options for them where the ghouls and goblins are
controlled when popping out as to not scare the faint of heart.

Happy Hauntings Halloween Activities

Date: Saturday and Sundays throughout October
Location: Castle Park

Castle Park has an event from 3pm-5pm for your little one, Happy Hauntings Halloween
activities will offer plenty of fun activities for the children, and including pumpkin painting, a
costume contest, as well as a great trick-or- treat street. Up and running this year will be their
House of Halloween where kids 12 and under can go into a friendly Halloween maze and get
special treats!

Field of Screams - The Haunted Stadium

Dates: October 6-31 st (selected dates)
Location:  500 Diamond Dr, Lake Elsinore 92530
Admission: $20
If you are interested in something a bit more on the adult side, you could find all that at Field of
Screams. Children below 12 are welcome, but are recommended to come in with a parent or
guardian. At the Field of Screams you will find 4 all new mazes, each one as scary as the next.
Devour, Witch Way, High Lake, and The Damned all have a unique theme which gives you a lot
to walk through. For an additional $10 you could enjoy the just added Zombie Outbreak Laser
Tag, which provides realistic prop weaponry and has you out and about trying to survive a
zombie attack. If you are looking for a drink to calm your nerves you will also find that this even
is one of the few maze attractions to provide beer for you.

Human Roast House

Date: Open Thursday- Sunday all through October, and Halloween Day
Location: Corner of University Ave. and Maine St. in Downtown Riverside
Admission: $10- $25
As you walk through the house, you are given a look into the mind of a fictitious serial killer
Austin Reed Trebbe. Here you’ll meet with his victims and see the clowns that pushed him to
the edge of murder. As you dive deeper into the maze, you’ll come to the horror of who these
victims were and who will be his next. Due to graphic scenes across the maze, children are
recommended to come with an adult.

Date: Thursday through Sunday Until Halloween
Showtimes: 7PM, 7:45PM, and 8:30PM
